Work at home: Advices to Avoid Identity theft

Learn how to Avoid Paid Survey Scams

Does the thought of signed with work at home paid surveys online and exposing yourself to hundreds of thousands of internet users give you white knuckles? If so, your fears are founded. According to the FBI, identity theft is the number one fraud perpetrated on the internet.  So how do paid survey takers protect themselves while doing paid surveys? Here are some tips for staying safe while completing paid surveys on the internet.

Paid survey list is one of the oldest work at home scams on the Internet. You've probably seen thousands of ads from companies on search engines and work at home forums. They promise to make you rich just filling out simple surveys online but this is the truth:

There are hundreds of "Free paid Survey Lists”. All they want is for you to give them your name, address, phone or cell number, and your time. Be aware of these, they give you a small sample then ask you to pay for an upgraded membership. If you don't upgrade they will sell your information to every marketing company on the planet and from there you will receive thousands of phone calls everyday and thousands of letters in your email box trying to get your money.

Every time you register with paid survey companies that are on their Free lists, they get paid anything from $2 to $5 dollars each time you sign up. They will always encourage you to register with all of the companies on their list in order for you to get a lot of good paid opportunities. But the truth is, they only want your money and do not care if you sign with too many companies which will cause your e-mail address to go on a black list and market research companies will never send you good paid surveys.

Other websites won't give you anything for free. They will charge you $34 to $150 to get the so called "FREE" survey list. When you buy those memberships you will find many market research companies.  But approximately 10% are actually good paid surveys, 40% are scams and 50% are companies that are no longer in the market. I tried many of these and have lost money, personal information and time.

You have seen ads on Google, Yahoo, and MSN and have received many spam emails telling you that they will make you rich.  It is all a marketing scheme to get your attention, your money and information. This is another big lie you will never get rich completing paid surveys online. However, you can earn some cash, great prizes, gift cards and surely have a lot of fun completing them.

Some sites that are free will sell your email to others. Though, you don't loose money with them, your inbox will be flooded with unsolicited offers. Always read the privacy policy before joining any website.

So what to do Not to Get scammed? Spend time finding work at home surveys sites from the internet and then check them out before joining or use only the paid survey sites I listed on the Top 10 US or on the Directory and save time. Identity theft.

When you register in online paid surveys to work at home be aware of identity theft. Many identity thieves are talented in conning people to join online paid surveys. Some even offers quite a lot of money for taking surveys. It is important that you should not be gullible and fall for this kind of trap as this will just get you into trouble. I never had any problems with the paid surveys listed on workathomepaidsurveygreen.com database. You have to consider the fact that identity theft is one serious crime. It is a type of crime that you won’t know that you are already a victim until it’s too late. After a month, you will receive calls from credit card companies asking you for payment on the purchases you didn’t even know about.

Keep the following points in the mind!

Keep the following points in the mind while selecting paid survey companies. This will assist you to avoid any fraud or worst experience. • The company must be in the business for at least 1 year. • Search for organized, smooth to navigate directories. • Confirm that directories are updated regularly. • Check that the company makes you eligible immediately. • Check out for good customer service via phone or email, with response time less than 24hrs. Look for a guarantee that you will get at least a minimum number of surveys upon getting enlisted there, however there is no 100% guarantee. • Execute a 'who-is' lookup for the sites to confirm if they are registered with false proxies.
